Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

ScheduleToCalendar turns schedules you upload into calendar files. This page explains exactly what happens to your documents, the events extracted from them, and your payment details.

The short version: your documents are used to extract events and are not stored by us. The extracted events stay in your browser. We never see your card details. There are no accounts and no advertising trackers.

What we handle, and for how long

Documents you upload

When you upload a PDF, photo or screenshot — or paste schedule text — it is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which forwards it to Google's Gemini API to identify the events in it. We do not save your file to disk, write it to a database, or keep it after the request finishes. It exists only in memory for the seconds the extraction takes.

Google processes the file under its own terms as an API provider. See Google's Gemini API terms for how they handle data sent to the API.

The events that come back

Extracted events are returned to your browser and stay there. Editing, validation, duplicate and conflict checking, and the generation of the final .ics and .zip files all happen locally on your device — no further server round-trip and no additional AI calls. Your event titles, dates, locations and calendar names are never written to our database.

So that your work survives the redirect to and from the payment page, that event data is held in your browser's sessionStorage. It is cleared when you close the tab.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's own checkout page — they are never sent to us and we never have access to them. See Stripe's privacy policy.

All we store about a purchase is a randomly generated order ID, which tier was bought, and whether it has been paid. That record contains no personal information, no event data and no payment details, and it is deleted automatically after 24 hours.

Server logs

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this to build a profile of you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What we do not do

  • We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, address or phone number.
  • We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone beyond the processors named above, each of which is used only to make the product work.
  • We do not use your documents or extracted events to train our own models.

Cookies

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies. The site uses your browser's sessionStorage to hold your in-progress calendar, as described above. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page for fraud prevention and to make payment work.

Your rights

Because we do not keep your documents or event data, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or delete once your session ends — closing the tab removes it. If you are in the UK, EU, California or another region with data protection rights and you want to ask about the limited order records described above, contact us and we will respond.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
